So last weekend we picked pumpkins. The two older boys carved and the two younger girls painted.
- Pick a decent size pumpkin.
- Cut around the stem
- Gut it
- I usually pick the side that I want to carve (Usually the flattest pointing up) And file the inside of that one down.
- Next the boys picked out the design they wanted on the computer. Because we couldnt change the size for printing we cut them out and pinned them to the pumpkins.
- Next we cut it out
- Then we filled a tub up with a mixture of bleach and water and put the pumpkins in it. This helps the pumpkins last- We did this over night.
- Put the pumpkins outside (ours are on the front steps)
- Place the candle inside
- Wait for night and light
Here are some picture of my experience.
