Craft- Leaf printing with paint

One thing I enjoy is fall.  The colors in New England are so beautiful!!!

With that comes the yard clean up as the leaves fall. With those leaves we built a scarecrow, a seperate blog entry in itself.  But we put leafs in a basket and brought them inside.

I have since found a way to perseve leaves for other projects but again, a seperate blog post all together!

After many...MANY attempts of not dumping leaves out on each other we finally brought them in and got to enjoy the project at hand.

You will need:
  • Paint.  I used my home made paint: found here using red, orange, and yellow.
  • Paint brush
  • Paper plates. For easy clean up
  • News paper
Getting ready
  • To get your work space ready lay the newspaper out on the table.
  • Put a dab of each color on a seperate plate and around the table.
  • The basket of leaves in the center.
  • I taped the white paper down to the newspaper so I didnt have to worry about the paper getting all over the place.

The kids loved it!
