1 1/4 cup flour
1 3/4 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups of egg whites
1 teaspoon cream of tart
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
Directions:
- Beat eggs whites until they form stiff peaks and then add cream of tart, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
- Sift together flour, sugar and salt- repeat five times
- Gently combine egg whites with the dry ingredients and then pour into an ungreased pan
- Place cake pan in a cold oven bottom rack with the other racks taken out.
- Turn the oven on set for 325 degrees.
- Cook for about an hour.
- The top of the cake she be crackled and brown.
- Flip pan upside down and allow to cool.
- Once fully cooled remove pan!
- Add strawberries and whip cream and enjoy!! :)
