Recipe- Cadbury Mini Egg Cookies

I saw this on Facebook and decided this weekend I would try it! So here we go!!!

Ingredients:
2 ¾ cups of all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 cup butter, softened
1 ½ cups of white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

24 cadbury mini eggs

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Then make the cookie dough:
-In a small bowl stir flour, baking soda and baking powder
-In a large bowl stir together sugar and butter till smooth
-Beat in egg and vanilla
-Stir in dry ingredients

Next you will want to cut up the cadbury egg- I cut mine into four pieces and was ok that it broke into a lot of pieces

Next I took about a tablespoon of dough and created a pocket for the egg (One egg per tablespoon)
Close it and shape into a ball
place the balls about 2 inches apart on a a cookie sheet
 Bake for 13-15 minutes
I rolled a couple in the shells left on the plate to give it this look:
 And enjoy!
