Recipe: Overnight Iced Coffee

Homemade Overnight  Iced Coffee
The process of soaking coffee overnight, rather than brewing coffee and chilling has many other benefits. It reduces the acidity by up to 70%; so if you think coffee is too bitter or if it bothers your stomach, then cold brewing is for you!  It also enhances the flavor of the coffee!!!

What you need:

1. A large container (I used a large Mason Jar)
2. Coffee Filters
3. Water
4. 1 oz per cup of water (or more depending on how strong you like your coffee) ground coffee
5. Patience

What to do:
1.
Take your large container and fill it up with water

2. Add coffee grounds

3. Close the container and allow to sit overnight at room temperature.

4. The next day take another container

and put on the coffee filter (I doubled it up) or if you have a strainer use that but put a liner in it

5.  Take the container with the coffee solution in it

and pour

this will remove the coffee grounds and give you the solution.

Once the process is done (Its going to take a while) you can store in the fridge.

Coffee solution...

with cream added

ENJOY!
